Winter Break Housing
The following is a list of local motels that are within walking distance of the University and The Overlook, which will be open Monday through Friday 7:30 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. over break except for the week between Christmas and New Year's in which it will be open 7:30 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. and closed Christmas Day (12/25) and New Years Day (1/1). This list is not all-inclusive:
Room Types and Roommates:
The rates for the motels are a per room (single or double occupancy) rate as the motels will not be pairing students together. If you are looking for someone to room with you you can contact the central housing office at (775)784-1113 where we will be maintaining a list of students looking for someone to room with them over the winter break. It will be up to the students to contact the individuals on the list and coordinate their living arrangements together.
**The rates listed below are approximate estimates for 31 nights and may or may not include taxes and/or other fees. The cost for a 31 night stay (December 20-January 20) in a single-occupancy room ranges from $680-$1705 depending on the motel and room type.
