Resident Director for Canada Hall
My name is Brandon Knox and I'm the Graduate Resident Director for Canada Hall. I was born and raised in Longview, WA not far from Portland, OR. In August 2008, I graduated from the University of Washington in Seattle with a Bachelor of Arts in Oceanography. I'm currently pursuing my Master of Arts in Educational Leadership with an emphasis in Higher Education Administration, and I am a representative for the College of Education on the Graduate Student Association (GSA) Council. I enjoy volunteering in the community, hiking, (real) camping, playing the *occasional* video game, yoga, casual photography, travel and more.
My goals for Canada Hall and next year include fostering academic success for all of our students, creating a deep sense of community & identity and providing for the unique needs of upperclassmen. Keep in mind, each studentŐs experience in college is affected by their own participation in it more than anything else; the Community Assistant staff and I value your input and participation, so jump in with both feet!
Welcome to YOUR community and I am excited to work with each resident and staff member to make it the best it can possibly be. Feel free to stop by the front desk or my office located next to the main entrance of the building if you are in need of anything or just want to talk.
Cheers,
Brandon Knox
